Why Idelux-AIVE chooses Safe2be

Philippe Sondag is ICT manager at Idelux and explains us briefly why they chose Safe2be.

"Idelux uses Safe2be. Consequently, we are sure that we can always have the latest technologies without the need to have in-house expertise for this purpose."

A bit of background

"I decided on Safe2be because our organisation does not really have a fully operational IT department. Owing to a shortage of in-house IT skills we were faced every four years with the difficult question of deciding what kind of infrastructure we should invest in."

Why Easi? Why Safe2be?

We now rely on Easi's Safe2be solution: consequently, we are sure that we can always have the latest technologies without the need to have in-house expertise for this purpose. Another major advantage is that we pay only for the capacity we actually use, whereas before we were using only a few percent of the capacity available to our servers. We count on Safe2be for its ‘Anti-Spam as a Service’ facility. This model ensures incoming e-mails are scanned for spam even before they reach our own infrastructure. The two related advantages of this are:

  • the effectiveness of our telecommunications infrastructure usage can be maximised;  and
  • we no longer have to provide a hardware or software system ourselves for the purpose of filtering out incoming spam.
