From a sporting point of view, the UEFA Euro 2016 will leave a bitter taste to the Red Devils. If we look at the organizational side of things though, this event has enabled some big changes within the Belgian Football Association.
Behind the scenes, a major project was settled for several months to provide efficient management tools to the Federation. Michel Wilquet, head of the accounting department, delivers his testimony on the implementation of Adfinity at the RBFA.
An accounting software from the latest IT developments
"Our former accounting software dated from the previous century and did not offer anymore all the features that were meanwhile developed."
The objective was therefore to implement a brand new accounting software for the EURO 2016.
As the largest sport federation of the country and the growing success of our national teams these past years, our turnover has increased and so is the number of invoices and budgets to treat.
We wanted to move towards an efficient accounting system offering all the benefits of current technology and coupled with a budget management software. From now on, all our managers can follow the evolution of their budget in real time. This gives us the opportunity to manage financial flows at best and avoid unexpected budgetary overruns at year-end...
After a comparison between different players in the sector, we chose Adfinity, which stood out by the user-friendliness of its system, a professional approach of its staff ensuring a perfect support and an adjustment proposed just in time via the updates of the program. In this way, we are assured to always dispose of the latest IT developments."
