Network Security Engineer

Internship for spring 2025

As an intern within our Network & Security business line, you will support our Network Security Engineers in their daily tasks. Together with our seniors, you will rotate operationally: you will help identify and respond to specific customer needs. You will help think about Security solutions that our seniors implement at customers and contribute to a secure and high-performance network for our customers.

During this internship, you will technically learn everything about firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, security measures & policies ... but you will also learn how to deal with customers in a multi project, multi client environment. As an intern Security Engineer, you will be part of our Managed IT Solutions team.

Within this team, two types of profiles (Red Team / Blue Team) work closely together to carry out security projects.
Red Team members are generally involved in projects focused on attack: Pentesting, vulnerability scanning, phishing campaign ...

Blue Team members are generally involved in projects focused on defence: Firewall, antispam, endpoint protection, security audits ...

We are looking for an intern for our Blue Team. Your internship will mainly consist of the following tasks:

• Help secure our customers' infrastructure and network
• Participate in the design, implementation and configuration of our integrated security solutions
• Participate in providing cyber security advice to customers
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and products from leading vendors.
• Meet regularly with our NOC and SOC teams

Must-have:

• Willingness to learn and adapt to non-Windows systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of system administration.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with SQL

Specific to your internship:

• You will be assigned a coach who will closely monitor you throughout your internship and assist you with any questions or difficulties
