System Project Engineer

As a System Project Engineer, your job is to advise clients regarding new IT projects, play an active role in the roll-out of these new infrastructure projects and audit and maintain existing infrastructure environments.

And it doesn't stop here!

In this position, you will be able to constantly develop your technical knowledge thanks to the different projects you will be involved in. You will work in a very interesting technical environment. You will be responsible for various projects for different types of clients and organisations. 

As a Medior/Senior System Engineer, you will be part of our Managed IT Solutions (MIT) team.

As a System Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the rollout of various IT infrastructure projects. You will be doing various types of projects at our customers:

• Network project
• VOIP project
• Azure cloud deployments
• ...

Projects will be distributed among the team based on your experience and area of interest. For the first projects, you will join an experienced System Engineer. The projects at our customers are both remote and on-premise. 

Your duties will include various responsibilities. For example, you are:

• Responsible for supporting our sales during the presales phase in order to advise our customers in the best possible way
• The point of contact for customers
• Staying up to date within the changing IT landscape
• Obtaining relevant certifications to grow within your role
• Working in close contact with our project managers

Must-have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience, ideally in shared infrastructure management for multiple customers
• All-round knowledge of multiple IT technologies such as cloud, routing & switching, backup & storage, network & security ... and vendors such as VMware, Veeam, Microsoft, Fortinet, Barracuda, HPE Aruba, Cisco Meraki, Juniper, ...
• VMware expertise: good knowledge of and experience with vCenter, DVS, vMotion, storage vMotion, DRS, storage profile, vCloud, vRops
• Experience in setting up and managing storage (Dell PowerStore, Lenovo Storwize)
• Knowledge and mastery of the Veeam solution
• Knowledge of or experience with PowerShell, Azure, Microsoft365 & Modern Workplace, Intune, Sharepoint, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM ...
• Very good knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Flexible mindset & willing to make interventions outside normal working hours 

Nice-to-have:

• Bilingualism NL/FR
• Experience in project management
• Good knowledge of French
