Cybersecurity company Rapid7 recently announced the laureates of its "Partner of the Year Awards. IT company Easi, which acquired cybersecurity specialist Switchpoint in 2022, became one of the proud winners.
‘Detection & Response Partner of the Year’
Cybersecurity company Rapid7 holds an annual "Partner of the Year Award" ceremony to honor its partners. "All of our winners have achieved exceptional growth - a testament to their dedication to and collaboration with the Rapid7 Partner Program throughout the year”, said Andrew Burton, president of Rapid7.
Through community-driven research and product development, Rapid7 is challenging the status quo to create a more secure future. "Their InsightIDR system allows us to control the abundance of security-related events”, testifies David Brouwers, IT Infrastructure Manager at New Wave Group.
In the Detection & Response Partner category, Easi took the top prize. Michel Nys, Key Account & Strategy Director at Easi, is proud of this award: "It is a recognition for the work done by our employees. We hope to extend the title next year with all the resources and competencies we have acquired through the acquisition of Switchpoint."
Protection against cyber attacks
Thomas Van Eeckhout, CEO of Easi, which has held the title of Best Place to Work in Belgium since 2015, is a satisfied man. "The importance of cybersecurity cannot be stressed enough in these times. In 2022, the number of cyber attacks increased by 38% compared to 2021. 83% of all organizations were victims of more than one data breach in 2022. Protecting oneself from IT threats has become a priority on the agenda. Being awarded 'Detection & Response Partner of the Year' confirms that we at Easi are very responsive to this."
"Gaining visibility in a simple way is indispensable for companies today. This is also reflected in growth," Thomas continued. "While Easi employed about 200 people in 2020, we have already passed the mark of 500 employees at the beginning of this year. The number of satisfied customers also increased to more than 1,000 by April 2023."
