Easi, elected Best Workplace in Belgium for the 10th consecutive time

For the tenth consecutive year, Vlerick Business School in collaboration with ‘Great Place To Work’, the global authority on organizational culture, has voted Easi as the Best Workplace in Belgium in the category small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). This is a remarkable achievement for the Belgian IT company, which prioritizes the well-being and professional fulfillment of its employees.

Each year, Vlerick Institute and ‘Great Place to Work’ publish a ranking of the "Best Workplaces in Belgium." A comprehensive survey is conducted among employees of participating companies to examine how they view the level of trust, pride and collegiality within their company. Thus, this ranking is primarily based on the opinion of employees. Once again this year, we find the IT company Easi, primarily based in Nivelles and Leuven, on the top step of the podium.

A tribute for its 25th anniversary

"This tenth victory couldn't have come at a better time. We are celebrating Easi's 25th anniversary this year, and it's remarkable to think that we started with just 20 employees. Today, we are on the verge of surpassing the 500 mark. We are proud of how far we have come, and we owe it entirely to our employees. They are our strength, our driving force. It's thanks to their dedication that we have been named the 'best workplace' for the past 10 years. We are delighted to see how much they enjoy working at Easi," explains Jean-François Herremans, co-CEO of Easi. Indeed, the IT company has achieved a 96% employee satisfaction rate! With a new acquisition in December 2023, Easi continues to grow with new objectives in mind. By 2026, it aims to reach 750 employees. "This growth does not only reflect our success as a company, but also underscores our commitment to creating a positive and fulfilling work environment for all," adds Jean-François Herremans.

New category for next year

Every day, Easi is committed to improving the well-being of its employees and fostering their professional development. "This result confirms that our efforts to put our employees first keep paying off," says Thomas Van Eeckhout, co-CEO of Easi. "We are aware that our chances of winning this award for the eleventh time will be lower than in previous years, as we will be competing in a higher category alongside large, well-established companies in the rankings. However, our participation in this competition is first and foremost for our employees, to show them our appreciation for the work they do on a daily basis," adds Thomas Van Eeckhout.

Key figures obtained by Easi

As explained earlier, Vlerick Institute and ‘Great Place to Work’ conduct an extensive survey among employees of participating companies, in order to establish a ranking. This survey is an opportunity for Easi to discover what its employees think about various internal aspects. We learn, for example, that:

  • 94% of its employees feel respected by management.
  • 97% of them believe that management is competent to run the company.
  • 89% of its employees consider that they receive a fair share of the company's profits.
  • Finally, 83% of its employees feel encouraged to balance their personal and professional lives.
