The need
Difficulties and risks accompanied by trying to keep everything IT related in-house.
The solution
A strategic partner, who could assess and elevate the current environment, and proactively manage it.
The advantage
Easi fully manages the IT-environment while the in-house team can focus on value added projects.
Difficulties in the past
"Before our partnership with Easi, each location pretty much operated on its own IT island. Then, we decided to centralize our servers on-premises. However, this kept IT's focus on support, rather than focusing on supporting and growing the business.
We first tried to accommodate the strengthening of the IT department in-house. At times, we lacked the right knowledge, or it was difficult to keep certain skilled profiles on board. Often, we also needed a strategic sounding board. In short, building an in-house IT team did not seem so obvious, and I felt that the risk of being a service provider for all our departments was too great."

Why was Easi was chosen?
"Initially, we were looking for a partner who could guarantee the stability and continuity of our network. It was an advantage that Easi could first optimize our existing environment, but we quickly realized that our international strategic vision required the cloud to be our end result.
Meanwhile, a few hundred employees work in Easi's private cloud, and because of our ambitions I see this only increasing in the coming years", explains Dirk Vidts, CEO of Hannecard Group.
Unburdening leads to new focuses
"Because Easi takes care of our system as well as the support and our users, our own team can focus on projects that really add value for the company, such as the implementation of computerization on the work floor and especially an IoT project with great added value for our customers.
For us, Easi is a real strategic partner who, based on our vision, helps us develop towards the future. We see them as an extension of our internal team and count on them to guide us further."
