Description

Internship period: 1st semester 2026

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and have the mindset to take on hackers?
Do your friends describe you as enthusiastic and curious with an appetite for new knowledge in a constantly evolving IT world?

Then the internship as a SOC Analyst might be exactly what you're looking for!

As a SOC Analyst intern, your mission is to help monitor and protect multiple customer environments against cyber threats. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts and have frequent interaction with our customers.

During your internship, you will work on a specific, high-impact project that directly contributes to the efficiency and innovation of our SOC operations. Whether you're building automated malware analysis tools or creating new ways to gather threat intelligence, your work will have real value for our security team and our clients.

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, why not do it at Belgium’s Best Workplace since 2015? ;-)

Responsibilities

During your internship, you will:

  • Assist in the technical support and implementation of our SOC and SIEM solutions (IDR, XDR, NDR, ISR, and Endpoint Protection)
  • Analyse and handle unresolved incidents from various customer environments (Incident Response)

  • Create or modify specific Indicators of Compromise (IoCs)
  • Evaluate and collect data (e.g. running processes, behavioral confirmations) on customer systems
  • Support in evaluating and developing recovery actions
  • Occasionally participate in on-call assistance for security incidents

In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to work on one of the following specialized cybersecurity projects:

  • Create a Sandbox/Malware Analysis Environment
Develop a secure, isolated environment capable of automatically analyzing suspicious files, executables, or scripts. This system will be linked to EasiSOC to streamline automated threat analysis workflows.
  • Develop a Public Honeypot System
Build a honeypot infrastructure that detects and logs malicious activity. The system should extract Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and automatically sync this intelligence with our SOC platform for proactive defense and threat hunting.
